The new top of the range 510hp 2.6 V6 Twin-turbo Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio set the fastest time around the Nürburgring circuit for a production SUV.
Fabio Francia set the new lap record which now stands at 7 minutes 51.7 seconds around the 12.9 mile circuit.
This new lap record is 8 seconds faster than the previous record.
The top of the range Stelvio Quadrifoglio will be in UK Alfa Romeo showrooms in 2018.
