Here is a mid-nineties classic car that can be used not only on a sunny day but also on a rainy day without fear – The Carrado VR6 Storm. The Carrado was produced between 1988 and 1995. In 1995, production was coming to an end and Volkswagen wanted to celebrate the fact. They introduced the Storm version as a final send off into the VW’s and motoring history books.

It is metallic green with a cream leather interior. It has covered a total of 79500 miles.

Reading though its notes, it had spent 14 years in dry storage and then in 2018 was fully recommissioned – which included a full bare metal respray.

Classic Car Auctions estimate its selling price to be between £8,000 – £10,000 which to me sounds like a fair price for a “last of the line” manual gearbox Corrado VR6 Storm.
