Vauxhall has released details on its Corsa-e Anniversary Edition celebrating 40 years of its supermini.
There will only be 1000 fully electric Corsa-e Anniversary Editions destined for the UK. It will be available in a new “Record Red” metallic paint – inspired by the original Nova with a two-tone black roof, black badging and 17-inch black alloy wheels.
The interior features tartan upholstery which is a nod back to the original Corsa (A) GT as it was called in Europe and the Nova SR in the UK.
Each Corsa-e Anniversary Edition comes with collectors’ socks which feature the Vauxhall chequered tartan interior trim – inspired by the original Nova SR.
The Vauxhall Corsa-e Anniversary Edition is based on the GS Line version. The electric motor produces (100kW) 136PS and has a range of 222 miles (WLTP) from its 50kWh battery.
80% charge only takes 30 minutes using a 100kW rapid charger.
It is priced at £31,000 on the road and is only available to order exclusively online with Vauxhall.
