The first pictures of the new updated Golf have arrived. There have been some major changes inside and the outside. On the outside it has new front and rear bumpers, full LED rear lights and brand new LED headlights.
There is a new TSI 1.5 Evo petrol engine with Active Cylinder Management which produces 150 PS.
The Golf GTI and the GTI Performance has been increased with power 230 PS and 245 PS.
VW have a new 7 speed dual clutch gearbox (DSG) that will make its debut in the updated Golf.
Inside the updated Golf its infotainment system has been redesigned with larger touchscreens with better resolution. For the first time in a car in this class you can opt for Gesture control. By using a swipe gesture you can arrange the menu items left and right or scroll through the menu.
You can also have a full digital cockpit instead of the analogue dials like in the Audi’s.
