This is it……..The new Mercedes Benz G-Class.
Mercedes Benz hasn’t moved too far away from the original design DNA.

The new G-Class has lost 170 kg in weight but is 53mm longer and 121 mm wider than the previous model.
New to the G-Class range is the electromechanical rack-and-pinion steering with 3 different modes…. Comfort, Sport and Off-road.
Parking Assist can now be specified.

DYNAMIC SELECT  is now available with 5 different driving modes: Comfort, Sport, Eco,Individual and G-Mode.

G-Mode sets the G-Class up for off road driving.

The transmission in the G-Class is a 9G‑TRONIC auto. Yes….. that is a 9 speed automatic!

This G-Class promises to be even better on and off road than the previous model it replaces.

June is the launch date for the G-Class and prices start from €107,040.50 inc VAT in Germany.

UK specification and pricing is still to be confirmed.

Ola Källenius, Member of the Board of Daimler AG responsible for Group Research and Mercedes-Benz Cars Development.

“The new G-Class is setting the bar higher still in all relevant areas – in terms of performance both on and off the road as well as with regard to comfort and telematics. Our ‘longest-serving’ model series is therefore ideally equipped to continue its success story. In short, the new ‘G’ is still a ‘G’, only better.”
