The New Audi A5

These are the first pictures of the new Audi A5 and S5 coupe.

After 9 years of the current A5 model it is time for a change. Audi have trimmed 60kg off the this new model compared to the old one.

It has more interior space, a longer wheelbase and a larger boot.

Engines on offer are 2 petrol TFSI engines and 3 TDI diesel engines. The engine power ranges from 190PS to 286PS.

The S5 Coupe has a turbocharged V6 TFSI that delivers 354PS.

0-62mph in 4.7 seconds.

LED rear lights are standard with the optional LED or Matrix LED headlights with dynamic turn signals.

Order books open towards the end of summer.

I always thought that the A5 was one of Audi`s best looking cars. I am glad that they have not changed it too much. It is nice to see that Audi have kept the wave-shape that runs the length of the car with its slightly bulging wheel arches. It is a nice touch and overall gives it a strong look.
