The Seat Ibiza has been around for 33 years and has sold more than 5.4 million cars in its 4 different generations.
80% of its production is exported to more than 75 countries.
The original Ibiza was designed by the Italian automotive design legend, Giorgetto Giugiaro. Giorgetto Giugiaro designed the mark 1 VW Golf, Lotus Esprit, DeLorean DMC-12  and many other great looking cars. (Google him).

The original Ibiza had an engine that was developed with the help of Porsche, hence some of the Ibiza’s had decals on the side and rear of the car saying “System Porsche”.
Because of “System Porsche” written on the car I used to admire them whilst walking to primary school with my mum. I knew, even then, that I wanted one. Maybe one day Ill buy one.

I was way too young to know at the time but now looking back through automotive history, this car had really put Seat on the automotive map.

In 1996, 1997 and 1998 it achieved great success in winning the FIA World Rally Championship.
