This is the near-production prototype Volkswagen Golf GTI Clubsport.

This new model will be the most powerful Golf in this latest generation of Golf GTI’s.

The EA888 evo4 engine produces 300 PS and 400 Nm of torque. It uses a 7 speed dual-clutch gearbox (DSG).

A new Vehicle Dynamics Manager’s system network now includes the electromechanical front-axle locking differential as standard.

Enhancements have been made to the Golf GTI Clubsport exterior. It has a new front bumper with a bigger air opening. The front/rear spoilers and rear diffuser all increase its air flow and downforce. Wider sills and a 10mm lower body finish off the sporty look.
