This is the new Mercedes-Benz E300 de, which is powered by 2.0 litre diesel engine and a hybrid electric motor.
The 2.0 litre diesel engine produces 194 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The electric motor produces 122 hp and 440 Nm of torque.
If you combine the torque of the 2 power units, this new E300 de produces 700 Nm of torque and achieve a combined 166.2 mpg. The saloon version emits 41 g/km of CO2 and the estate 44 g/km of CO2.
0 to 62 mph will take 5.9 seconds and it has a top speed of 155 mph.
It has a battery capacity of 13.5 kWh and is capable of driving on fully electric power for 34 miles. Charging from 10 to 100% is in under 2 hours with a 7.4 kW charger.
The new E 300 de saloon and estate are available to order now. Prices start at £47,700 on the road for the saloon and £49,700 on the road for the estate.
