The UK new car market grew for a 22nd consecutive month in May 2024. Last month, a total of 147,678 new cars were registered.
This marks the best May performance since 2021 according to figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
May’s best selling car was the Kia Sportage.
