Lotus are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Hethel site “the home of Lotus”.
This special edition is based on the on the very good Elise Cup 250 launched this year.
Sitting behind the two seats is a 1.8 litre 4-cylinder supercharged engine pumping out 243 hp. 0-60 mph only
takes 3.9 second with a top speed of 154 mph. This car only weighs 899 kg thanks to its new carbon fibre bits.
Carbon-fibre, rear spoiler, front splitter and tailgate.
The Elise 250 Special Edition has the same suspension and braking system as the Elise Cup 250. So Bilstein sports dampers, Eibach coil springs, AP Racing twin piston front calipers.
It is also nice to know that it has a race track tuned ABS braking system to keep you on the tarmac.
