The UK new car market grew by 11.4% in June, according to the latest figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
A total of 213,166 new cars were registered during the month, with private buyer registrations rising by 12.5%.
Tesla topped the registration charts with the Model Y and the Model 3 behind in second place.
It was a standout month for the American brand, which claimed the top two positions in June registrations.
