Ferrari have released details of its new special version Ferrari 296 Speciale. The mid rear engine plug-in hybrid drivetrain delivers a combined 880 hp a record for a rear wheel drive production Ferrari.
The 296 Speciale generates 435 kg of downforce at 155 mph. Its 3.0 litre twin turbo V6 engine uses the same titanium connecting rods as the F8, which are approximately 35% lighter than traditional steel connecting rods.
