Discover how the all new Alfa Romeo Junior 280 Veloce drives in my first impressions review. Does this electric SUV retain the petrol spirit? I will let you know.
The 2025 Alfa Romeo Junior represents a bold step into the electric future for the Italian brand.

I hit the road to experience the Junior 280 Veloce in the real world rainy conditions, here are my initial thoughts.
- Ride Quality: Firm but smooth.
- Steering Feel: Light in normal mode, weights up well at speed or in Sport Mode, sharp and precise offering great feedback.
- Handling: It was a very wet day but really composed with hardly any body roll.
- Acceleration: Instant linear torque making it quick off the mark.
- Braking: Reassuring and with a progressive feel.
- Interior: I just couldn’t stop looking and touching it. The Sabelt seats are a must.
Overall, it delivers a very Alfa Romeo “like” experience.
The familiar Alfa Romeo driving agility dynamics are still there.
