The UK used car market grew by 5.5% in the third quarter of this year. A total of 1,884.160 used cars changed hands according to figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
The UK used car market is up 4.6% year to date but is -9.3% down on pre-pandemic levels.
Supermini cars remained the most popular vehicles accounting for 32.3% of all the transactions. The Ford Fiesta is the best selling used car of the third quarter.
