200MPH Jaguar F-Type For The Road………..

Jaguar will be launching a new light weight and more powerful F-TYPE called the F-TYPE SVR at the Geneva Motorshow in March. The F-TYPE SVR will be available in both coupe and convertible form and is capable of 200mph. It will go on sale in summer 2016.

John Edwards, Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations said this.

Capable of 200mph, the new F-TYPE SVR is the first Jaguar SVR and is developed to exploit the two-seat aluminium sports car’s full potential while retaining its day-to-day usability.

Lighter, faster and more powerful, the new F-TYPE SVR takes performance, dynamics and driver involvement to a new level yet retains the comfort and duality of character inherent to all Jaguar cars.

“The new F-TYPE SVR is the first series production Jaguar to be developed by Special Vehicle Operations and benefits from everything we know about precision engineering, performance and design.

“The result is a 200mph, all-weather supercar that you can drive every day – we even made a Convertible version so that enthusiasts can revel in the sound from the new titanium exhaust system.”

There will be more information to come out of Jaguar at a later date. I can’t help but be excited by what they have developed. This will lighter, faster and more powerful and good for everyday use . I like the sound of that, and talking about the sound……I was next to a standard new F-TYPE Jaguar in a traffic jam. I couldn’t help but put my drivers window down just to hear the exhaust note. Now Jaguar say that they have developed a new titanium exhaust? I wonder how that sounds? I Cant wait to hear it!!
