This is the new rear wheel drive Huracan LP 580-2 made for the focused driver.

Lamborghini have redesigned the front and rear end so that you can clearly identify it from its four wheel drive brothers. It has newly styled front air intakes which help the cooling and increases the front end downforce.  The rear has no need for a movable rear spoiler because of its improved airflow around the rear diffuser.

It is powered by a V10 5.2 litre engine which produces 580 hp. It weighs 33kg less than the LP610-4 and has redesigned steering and suspension set up.

Lamborghini have retuned the driving select modes Strada, Sport and Corsa to give it more oversteer driving character, which is what you would expect from a rear wheel drive Lambo.

“The Lamborghini Huracán LP 580-2 continues the Lamborghini tradition of pure, visionary and technology-driven models,” says Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “The rear-wheel drive model fits perfectly into our Huracán family, appealing to those wanting an even more intense driving experience, or who currently drive other rear-wheeldrive marques and aspire to driving a Lamborghini. This is the purest expression of a Lamborghini to date, with class-leading technological refinements. It is a serious car for serious drivers: it is maximum driving fun.”

We Blog Any Car thoughts…………..

With its new fresh redesigned front end I think it is now the best looking Lambo to date. It is now the entry model Lamborghini. If I was to drive this Lamborghini I would never turn the traction control off, after all it has 580hp and is only 2 wheel drive!!

A definite for your New Year wish list!
