The New Range Rover Evoque Convertible

This is new Range Rover Evoque convertible which has just been unveiled. This is the worlds first luxury SUV convertible.

Gerry McGovern, Land Rover Design Director and Chief Creative Officer, commented: “Range Rover Evoque Convertible is a vehicle for all seasons. Its uniquely distinctive design and world-class engineering adds another dimension to the Range Rover family, further enhancing its desirability and appeal.”

The fully automatic roof can be opened in only 18 seconds, closed in 21 seconds, whilst being driven up to 30mph.
The Evoque fabric roof is the largest fitted to any vehicle to date and Land Rover have designed a roll-over protection device that has 2 roll over bars hidden in the rear of the bodywork.
2 Aluminium bars will deploy in only 90 milliseconds if the Evoque was to roll over protecting the driver and passengers inside.

Engines will be the same as the 3 and 5 door Evoque’s so you can choose between petrol and diesel, it will be available to buy in spring 2016.

Prices will start at £47,500 for the TD4 HSE Dynamic .
