Since the launch of the VW Tiguan in 2007, it is now the most successful model in the Volkswagen Group and currently the best-selling SUV in Europe. 

In 2019 a total of 910,926 Tiguans were built with overall production passing over 6 million units.

The Tiguan is currently being made in 4 Volkswagen factories around the world: Germany, Russia, China and Mexico.
