On the 8th of June 1948 Porsche created its first car. 70 years on and Porsche are celebrating this historic moment with a Supercar Together Day. Porsche dealers around the U.K, and the world, are celebrating this milestone.

I had an invite from Porsche Solihull and was happy to oblige and attend the birthday celebrations on Saturday.

The day was a real celebration of all things Porsche.  It also included a German street food van, vintage ice cream, Porsche kids driving course and kids face painting.  Obviously if you were interested in owning a Porsche, upgrading or just needed a question answered….  the friendly knowledgeable staff were at hand.

On display were some really special Porsches.
