Porsche delivered 68,426 vehicles to its customers in the first quarter of 2022.

This, however, represents a small decline of 5% compared to the same period in 2021.

The decline is due to the unfortunate rise of Coronavirus in some parts of China and as Porsche’s single largest market is China this resulted in a -20% decline with 17,685 deliveries.

In Europe, Porsche delivered 22,791 vehicles in the first quarter of this year which is an 18% increase over the same period in 2021.

The resurgence of the coronavirus in some regions such as China, coupled with ongoing significant supply and logistical challenges, have put us to the test. At the same time, our products continue to be in high demand among customers worldwide – equally in Europe, the Americas and China.

Said Detlev von Platen, Member of the Executive Board for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG.

Porsche’s best selling vehicles so far this year are:

Cayenne 19,029

Macan    18,329

Taycan    9,470

911         9,327
