Every now and again, a car manufacturer will design a concept car that makes me think….why don’t they produce it? This new concept car from Peugeot is definitely one of these.
The e-LEGEND, which takes its styling cues from the iconic Peugeot 504 Coupe, is the latest concept car from Peugeot and will be on show at the Paris Motor Show 2018.

The PEUGEOT e-LEGEND is a fully electric concept car.  Its 100 kWh batteries produce 800 Nm of torque and 340 Kw.
0 to 62 mph will take less than 4 seconds….with a top speed of 137 mph.
Its range should be around 310 miles.

The PEUGEOT e-LEGEND CONCEPT has 4 modes of driving – two autonomous and two manual.

In fully autonomous mode,  the concept car has been designed to give the driver more time for themselves. The steering wheel can retract so the 49 inch central screen is fully visible.
The 2 front seats recline and the side armrests extend for extra comfort. When this mode has been activated, it frees up a large storage space and a charging area for smartphones and tablets etc.

Jean-Philippe Imparato, CEO of PEUGEOT, said:

“PEUGEOT e-LEGEND CONCEPT is not just a technological manifesto. This is the vision of a brand actively focused on an optimistic and ultra-desirable future. For PEUGEOT, autonomy and electric are synonymous with even stronger sensations. Boredom will never be part of our DNA.”
