If your budget doesn’t quite stretch to a new 911 GT3 or Turbo? Let me introduce you to the new 911 GTS.

The new 911 GTS uses a 3.0 litre 480PS flat-six engine which now produces 473 bhp and 570 Nm of torque (an increase of 30 PS and 20 Nm of torque compared to the previous model). This enables the Carrera 4 GTS (with the eight-speed PDK transmission) to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 3.3 seconds and have a top speed of 193 mph.

Its suspension derives from the 911 Turbo which has been modified for the GTS.

Porsche have also adopted the 911 Turbo brake system featuring 408mm front discs and 380mm rear discs.

An optional Lightweight Design package will be available later this year. The lightweight design will save up to 25kg of the car’s overall weight by using carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) bucket seats, lightweight glass, no rear seats and the use of a lightweight battery.

The 911 GTS is on sale now.

Prices start from £108,920.00 for the 911 Carrera GTS Coupe.
