BMW have released details on its new M4 CS. The 3.0 litre six-cylinder twin turbo engine power has been increased by 20 hp to 550 hp with 650 Nm of torque. 0 to 62 mph takes 3.4 seconds, and in testing around the Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit, an official time of 7 minutes 21.989 seconds was recorded on the 21.943 mile track.
Weight saving is the name of the game with this new BMW M4 CS, as the roof, bonnet, front splitter, front air intake, mirror caps, rear diffuser, rear spoiler, and carbon bucket seat backs are all made from carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP). A weight saving of 20 kg has been achieved compared to a standard M4 Competition Coupe with M x Drive.

Prices start from £117,100 with expected deliveries in the Autumn.
