In April 1971, the world got to see the Mercedes-Benz 350 SL (R107).

This model was the first to use the “R” abbaveration meaning “roadster”.

Later in the year, Mercedes-Benz derived the four-seater coupe version from the R 107. This SL coupe model was known as the C 107.

Through its production years there were a few updates to keep it looking and feeling fresh. Production finally came to an end in August 1989. A total of 237,287 – R 107 models were produced.

Values for this sought-after classic car seem to be rising ever higher as time passes. I really don’t see their prices dropping anytime soon.
