McLaren Special Operations have produced, on request of their customer specifications, a McLaren 675LT in the Gulf Racing livery. This car pays tribute to the 1997 Gulf-Davidoff GTC team McLaren F1 GTR “Longtail”.

The project took over 1000 plus hours to complete.
The paintwork airbrushing accounted for 800 hours.
It’s 20 spoke wheels are finished in Dayglo Orange. It even has sill badges with the customers initials on in the same Dayglo Orange colour.
This car is fitted with louvred front wings, a roof airscoop and an
airbrake….which is made out of carbon fibre.

“Creating a car like this unique McLaren 675LT, crafted to individual customer specification, is exactly the type of demanding commission that MSO Bespoke was formed to embrace and transforming the existing car from its original single colour paintwork to a tribute to the McLaren F1 GTR ‘Longtail’ in Gulf Racing livery was incredibly demanding in its own right, but was only part of the brief; we also replaced numerous standard 675LT components with MSO parts and further personalised the car to clearly identify it with its owner, a service that an increasing number of MSO customers request”.
