This is the Lexus LF-FC Concept car, a flagship 4 door saloon car. It is powered by hydrogen fuel cell which emits only water, producing zero CO2, NOx and particulates. The system drives the rear wheels and sends power to the front wheels making this car all wheel drive.

From the front this car is striking! Take a look at this Lexus’s signature grille and LED day light running lights.

Also look at the striking rear lights.

This concept car is all about comfort with big front seats and limousine style rear reclining seats. The interior is trimmed with high end leather and wood.

Lexus see the future using hand gestures instead of touching buttons on a dashboard. Images of navigation, air con and audio etc are projected into the air above the centre console. Lexus say it is all about a more relaxing driving experience.

The LF-FC Concept uses automated technologies and support Lexus’s integrated safety management concept goal of achieving zero road traffic accident casualties.

Tokuo Fukuichi, Lexus International President said this:

“Lexus wants to surprise and evoke emotion with its distinctive design and forward-thinking technology. For us, it is more than just a car; we want to exceed conventional imagination. The LF-FC expresses our progressive luxury and high-tech vision of a not-so-distant future.”

We Blog Any Car thoughts……… I am not sure if this concept car looks better from the front, rear, side or inside? If Lexus’ styling goes in this direction for their bigger cars? It can’t be bad! I like the idea of using a hydrogen fuel cell.
