I can’t help but be impressed with Koenigsegg. The car company, which is known for building exquisite sports cars, was only founded in 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg.

At this years Geneva Motorshow Koenigsegg had on show, for the first time, its very limited edition Agera RS Gryphon.

Only 25….Yes 25 of the (and I use this term loosely) “normal”  Agera RS will be built.

This is a road car with racing very much in its DNA.

The Agera RS comes with: A USB connector, leather seats, climate control, tyre pressure monitor system, alarm, sat nav, air bags, electric windows and even a roof storage bag to place the detactable roof in. This is all standard equipment.

With this Gryphon edition you will get 24 carat gold finish, alcantara dash and this carbon fibre racing helmet. (I want that racing helmet so much!)  How cool does it look on top of the car?

When you read the We Blog Any Car Stats below, things become even more interesting.

We Blog Any Car stats:

  • 5.0 litre V8 engine
  • twin turbo
  • 1360 bhp
  • 7 speed transmission
  • active rear wing and active front spoilers produce 485kg at 155 mph
  • 1395 kg overall weight
  • carbon fibre kevlar body
  • carbon fibre wheels
  • 150 litre luggage compartment
  • price. Do you really have to ask?

The Agera RS Gryphon is made with carbon fibre and kevlar mixed together. This car just blows me away with how it looks.  I really love the exposed carbon fibre weave all around the bodywork. I found myself just standing and staring at this fine work of art. The time flew by at the Koenigsegg motorshow stand in Geneva.
