This is the new I-PACE Concept car which Jaguar want to launch in 2018. Guests of Jaguar were given a unique, live world premier, across continent, virtual reality look at the car using tech from HTC VIVE and Dell Precision.
This electric car will be a cross between an SUV looking sports car. It has a 90kWh battery which has a range of 500km. Its 0 to 60 mph time will be around 4 seconds thanks to its twin electric motors front and rear that produce 700Nm of torque and 400PS.
If you use the rapid charging a full charge will take just over 2 hours.
But never mind all of this……
Take a look at its body shape. I will not get too excited just yet because it is a concept car after all, but when I think back to previous Jaguar concept cars (XF, X-Pace) they do stay quite true to their design concept.
Inside the I-PACE Concept car looks like a work of art. If they produce a dashboard like this it would win awards. How cool.
