Hyundai are showing us their vision and showcasing its new design language for the up and coming premium range including new future technologies. We couldn’t take our eyes off this Concept car at the Frankfurt Motorshow.
We spent quite a while just looking at it on the Hyundai stand, it looks almost looks like the finish article.
The question that kept going through our heads was…….This is a Hyundai?? It goes to show that this is how far Hyundai have come and we think if they were to produce this car other manufactures would sit up and take note.
A collaboration between design teams from north America, Asia and Europe created this concept car and doesn’t it show. This concept car almost looks as if it could be sitting in a local Hyundai showroom soon.
“Vision G is the first high-end premium coupe by Hyundai Motor. Despite its bold and powerful styling, the concept is purposefully understated, creating a balance of opulence and elegance that will resonate with customers who seek style without pretention,” said Peter Schreyer, President and Chief Design Officer of Hyundai Motor Company. “Vision G represents a fresh interpretation of Hyundai Motor’s characteristic approach of balancing design and performance, expressed in a way that isn’t overburdened with glitz and stereotypical luxury cues.”
We have to agree totally with Peter Schreyer.

We Blog Any Car thoughts…………
This car has such a feel of calm about it. The interior is beautiful with a minimalist dash fascia. The leather and wood just sets off the whole look of luxury.
From the side view, windows down, it has no B pillar so it has that timeless classic Grand Tourer look with a long bonnet and short boot. We came to the conclusion that all the proportions of the Hyundai Vision G Coupe Concept are pleasing on the eye. It isn’t showy but has a confident design stance. We are sure that if you saw it parked in a carpark you would look twice at it because you wouldn’t believe the badge on the front and rear. (That is a good thing).
We say to you Hyundai. “You have come this far with this concept, so finish the job and put it into production. “You will have a certain German manufacturer from Stuttgart with its 2 door coupe thinking twice about their own over styled big car”.
