Race Retro has once again fired up its engine starting a new 2026 motorsport season in proper style.
Held over three days at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire, the show drew 24,390 visitors, up again on last year’s 23,229. The halls felt busier, the trade presence was stronger than ever and there seems a every growing following for historic and grassroots motorsport.
But as ever, the real theatre was outside.
Rally cars from Group B to later era icons took to the bespoke live rally stage across the weekend. The noise the speed, it wasn’t static nostalgia, it was properly alive.
Inside, the live auction matched the energy outside. The Iconic Auctioneers auction recorded its strongest Race Retro performance to date with total weekend sales exceeding £7 million.
Race Retro continues to strike a clever balance, its less rally car museum and more movement.
The 2027 edition is already confirmed returning to Stoneleigh Park from 19 – 21 February 2027.
If this years was anything to go by, the season has well and truly started.
