Davanti Terratoura Mud Terrain tyre feature.
The UK’s leading mid-range tyre brand, Davanti Tyres, is thrilled to announce the addition of a brand new tyre to its off-road lineup: the Terratoura Mud Terrain (M/T). Specifically engineered to conquer the toughest off-road terrains with ease, the Terratoura M/T features an aggressive tread pattern and advanced, rugged construction to make off-road exploration effortless, no matter the challenge.
After a rigorous testing program at some of the toughest proving grounds to ensure exceptional grip, durability and control, the Terratoura M/T’s design has set a new benchmark for mud handling and off-road performance. At UTAC in Finland, the Terratoura M/T faced punishing arctic conditions, before heading to UTAC in England to have its performance on mud, sand, and grass challenged, as well as its gravel braking capabilities.
Ready to scale steep, muddy slopes, uneven downhill tracks, or transitioning from boggy fields to smooth tarmac, the Terratoura M/T’s innovative design provides confidence in every mile. Key features include:
- Prominent shoulder blocks that continue onto the sidewall provide excellent levels of traction, especially in situations where lateral grip may be hard to find
- Wide shoulder grooves are optimised for efficient dispersion of mud, sand and other loose debris – enhancing off-road traction and control
- Notched alternating shoulder blocks create a ‘sawtooth’ effect, helping the tyre to bite into rutted tracks and rocky terrains from all steering angles
- A robust carcass construction provides high load endurance, as well as excellent resistance to damage and punctures in extreme conditions
Davanti Tyres general manager, Peter Cross, said
We’ve always known there was an opportunity to expand our off-road range to ensure even in the trickiest of terrains, motorists had the right tyre to provide excellent performance and confidence behind the wheel.
It’s taken the team time to develop the tyre, with the Terratoura M/T meticulously designed and thoroughly tested. We’re thrilled to now offer a mud terrain tyre which will take on any adventure with ease and allow drivers to push it to the limits.
The Terratoura M/T is now available in sizes 15”-20”, joining Davanti’s original off-road tyre, the Terratoura All Terrain. To learn more about the Terratoura M/T, visit here.
