This year SEAT will be celebrating 40 years of its most iconic model the Ibiza.
Three automotive giants came together to produce the first generation SEAT Ibiza. The exterior was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, interior by Karmann and the powertrain was designed by Porsche.
Named after the island of Ibiza, over 6 million Ibizas have been sold over 5 generations since 1984.
The success of the iconic Ibiza meant that some countries recognised the vehicle even before the brand! The SEAT brand currently has the best product range in its history and is now stronger than ever. With the challenge of sourcing semiconductors normalising, sales have grown 24% in 2023, reaching 288,400 cars delivered.
