Porsche have added the T model to the 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman. The “T” stands for “Touring” and as standard this new model comes with 20 inch alloy wheels, PASM sports chassis (which is lowered by 20 mm and was only previously available on the S models), 6 speed manual gearbox, Porsche Torque Vectoring (with the mechanical rear axle differential lock) and Agate grey mirror covers.

Inside, the new T model will feature a 360 mm diameter GT sport steering wheel with the Mode switch, new “T” logos on the black instrument dials and the door entry sills, electric black sports seats with the centre parts in Sport-Tex, “718” logo embroidered on the headrests, a shortened gear stick, instrument panel with matching central console in glossy black and the Sports Chrono package.

In order to save weight, the PCM (Porsche Communication Management module) has been replaced by a large storage compartment and the interior door handles are fabric.  If it bothers you that you have no radio etc….the PCM system can be ordered as a no cost option.

Prices start at £51,145.00 on the road for the 718 Cayman T and from £53,006.00 on the road for the 718 Boxster T.
