Sport Auto, a German motoring magazine, conducted a test drive in the Mercedes-AMG GT R around the Nürburgring Nordschleife. They recorded their fastest ever lap time for a road going sports car ever tested.
Their time was 7:10.9 minutes.
The 585 hp, V8 bi turbo nickname is the “Beast of the Green Hell”
The Nordschleife race circuit nickname is the “Green Hell”.
