This is a “must see” car in the metal (or to be precise in the ‘aluminium’). I first saw it at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year in March. It is a real head turner……with many car folks packing the Alpine stand to get close to it. It’s UK debut was earlier this month at the London Motor Show and once again it had the same effect. Crowds of people were drawn to this car.
I am sure that it had people reminiscing about the success that Alpine had in the late 60s and 70s with rallying.
With its racing name and heritage, plus its retro design, this definitely brings back all those warm memories for some folks.

We Blog Any Car thoughts………….
It’s a kind of half way house between a Lotus Exige Sport 350 (that’s a hardcore car) and a Porsche Cayman (which you can use every day).
It’s easy to get in and out of when you sit inside. It has a inviting cabin and interior, with seats that I am not sure are better to look at or sit in. (Very comfy seats and driving position).
You do get the feeling that this car is all about saving weight and rightly so……….
All in all…….it was a real nice experience.
Also I must add. WELL DONE to Alpine for producing a car that looks so much like the concept car.
