Last Saturday I visited the Autosport International Show at the NEC Birmingham.  This is always an exciting time because it is officially the start of the 2020 Motorsport Season.

McLaren F1 driver Lando officially opened the doors to the show on Saturday and Ferrari F1 driver Charles Leclerc was doing the same on Sunday for the final public day.

It wasn’t just F1 racing stars that were there signing autographs and taking questions from the public, BTCC drivers Colin Turkington and Jason Plato were amongst the many current, and ex-racing drivers, that graced the stage at this year’s Autosport International.

It was also good to get close and personal with all the different racing formula from karting to GT racing.  Everything that you would need to buy (or know) was on offer at the show for the “Sunday Racing Warrior” like me…. or the Pro.

Also included in the ticket price was the Live Action Arena – where the vehicles were performing many stunts.

The Performance & Tuning Car Show didn’t fail to disappoint with the array of customized cars that were on display this year.

I hope you enjoy the pictures below…

It’s a good way to start the motorsport year.
