This is Alfa Romeo’s first ever SUV, which was launched at the Los Angeles Auto Show last week.
The version you see here is the Quadrifoglio spec.
It is powered by a 510 Hp 2.9 litre V6 BiTurbo engine. Ferrari have had some input with this as they had with the Giulia Quadrifoglio.
Alfa Romeo have also confirmed that there will be a smaller engine available, a 2.0 litre 280 Hp turbo petrol with a 8 speed auto gearbox.
I will be expecting to see a diesel unit added later after the launch, but we will have to wait and see.
The Stelvio will be playing hard ball against the likes of the Porsche Macan Turbo.

Alfa Romeo claim that one of their primary objectives with the Stelvio Quadrifoglio was to achieve perfect weight distribution. To do this they have used carbon fibre for the driveshafts and aluminium for the doors, bonnet, boot, suspension and engine.
All the best ingredients added to improve the power to weight ratio.

Inside from the picture, the dashboard seems to run along the same theme as the Giulia.

It looks as if it shares its DNA with the Giulia in the looks department.

I’m sure when you see it driving down the road in the UK, you will not mistake it for any other motoring brand.
